No budgets. No transfer deadlines. No price changes or captaincy math. Pick your players from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and 16 other clubs, invite your friends, and watch the matches. Fantasy Playoffs brings snake and pool formats to the 2026-27 Bundesliga season for people who want the fun without the homework.
The Bundesliga is the top professional soccer league in Germany, known for its packed stadiums and attacking, high-scoring football. Bayern Munich have dominated for over a decade, but Bayer Leverkusen broke through in 2024, and Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Stuttgart make the title race increasingly competitive.
Here it works the way fantasy works with your friends in any other sport. Pick a format, invite your group, build your roster, and you are done. Your players score points when they play well. No weekly maintenance required.
Two formats, both built for groups:
Snake. A live draft with your friends. Once a player is taken, he is gone, so no two rosters look alike and nobody can copy the template team. Draft once before kickoff and let the season play out.
Pool. No draft. Everyone picks a squad from the same player pool in about five minutes. The best picks win. This is the format for the friend who watches every match but has never played fantasy anything.
The World Cup pulled you in. The Bundesliga is where those stars play every weekend for the next nine months: Musiala, Wirtz, Sane, Havertz (when he visits), and the next wave of German talent. A fantasy roster gives you a reason to care about every Spieltag, not just Der Klassiker.
The 2026-27 Bundesliga season runs from mid-August 2026 to mid-May 2027. Eighteen teams, 34 matchdays (Spieltage), no playoffs: the team with the most points at the end wins the Meisterschale, and the bottom two are relegated. The third-from-bottom plays a two-leg relegation playoff against the 2. Bundesliga's third-place finisher.
You draft an 18-player roster (2 GK, 5 DEF, 6 MID, 5 FWD). That roster is yours for the entire season. No transfers, no waivers, no weekly lineup decisions.
Each Spieltag, the system automatically scores your best possible 11 out of the 18. You never choose who starts. The algorithm picks the highest-scoring valid formation after all matches are played. Your league can set this to resolve daily or weekly.
The remaining 7 players on your bench are insurance: if a starter is rested, injured, or suspended, someone from your bench can slot in automatically. Draft depth matters.
Rosters lock at the draft. If a rostered player leaves the competition mid-season, he stops scoring and is not replaced. A player who moves to another club within the Bundesliga keeps scoring for you.
Points accumulate all season. Most points at the end wins. No playoffs, no resets.
Position-weighted scoring, the same engine behind our World Cup leagues. Goals are worth more for defenders and goalkeepers because they score them less often. Clean sheets reward the back line. No bonus point system to decode.
Clean sheet and goals conceded use the team result. If your player's team concedes zero goals in the match, every GK/DEF/MID on that team who plays 60+ min earns the clean-sheet bonus. GKs and DEFs lose 0.5 pts per goal their team concedes (60+ min gate).
The Bundesliga consistently leads Europe in goals per match. More goals means more fantasy points, more drama, and more reasons to watch. High-scoring matches are the norm, not the exception.
No budgets, no transfers, no deadlines. Set your roster and watch. If you can fill out a bracket, you can play this.
Snake drafts for your soccer diehards, pools for everyone else. One league covers the friend who watches every Spieltag and the friend who just learned who Jamal Musiala is.

Exact dates will be updated once the DFL publishes the official 2026-27 Bundesliga calendar.
The Bundesliga typically kicks off in mid-August 2026 and runs through mid-May 2027. The exact opening weekend will be confirmed by the DFL after the World Cup concludes.
Eighteen teams compete in the Bundesliga. Each plays 34 matches (home and away against every other team). The bottom two are relegated, and third from bottom plays a relegation playoff.
Snake drafts (live pick-by-pick, each player on one roster only) and pools (everyone picks from the same player pool). Both use 18-player rosters. The system automatically scores your best possible 11 each Spieltag.
No. You never set a lineup. The system automatically scores your best possible 11 out of your 18 each Spieltag. There are no transfers, no waivers, no weekly decisions at all.
Position-weighted scoring: a goalkeeper goal is worth 10 points, a defender goal 6, a midfielder goal 5, a forward goal 4. Assists are 3 points across all positions. Clean sheets reward GK and DEF (+4) and MID (+1). Saves earn GK 1/3 point each. Yellow cards cost 1, red cards 3, own goals 2, penalties missed 2.
In a pool league, yes. In a snake draft, no. Snake drafts mean each player can only be on one roster, making every pick matter. Pools let everyone choose freely.

Bayern Munich consistently produces the most reliable fantasy performers, but Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and Stuttgart all field players who can carry a fantasy roster. The Bundesliga is known for its high-scoring matches, which creates plenty of fantasy scoring opportunity across the league.
