No budgets. No transfer deadlines. No price changes or captaincy math. Pick your players from PSG, Marseille, Monaco, and 15 other clubs, invite your friends, and watch the matches. Fantasy Playoffs brings snake and pool formats to the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season for people who want the fun without the homework.
Ligue 1 is the top professional soccer league in France, the league that developed Mbappe, Dembele, and a generation of World Cup winners. PSG dominate the headlines, but Marseille, Monaco, Lyon, and Lille make the title race and European spots competitive every season.
Here it works the way fantasy works with your friends in any other sport. Pick a format, invite your group, build your roster, and you are done. Your players score points when they play well. No weekly maintenance required.
Two formats, both built for groups:
Snake. A live draft with your friends. Once a player is taken, he is gone, so no two rosters look alike and nobody can copy the template team. Draft once before kickoff and let the season play out.
Pool. No draft. Everyone picks a squad from the same player pool in about five minutes. The best picks win. This is the format for the friend who watches every match but has never played fantasy anything.
The World Cup pulled you in. Ligue 1 is where France's next generation plays every weekend: Dembele, Barcola, Tchouameni (on loan or return), and the talent pipeline that feeds every major European club. A fantasy roster gives you a reason to care about every matchday, not just Le Classique.
The 2026-27 Ligue 1 season runs from mid-August 2026 to mid-May 2027. Eighteen teams, 34 matchdays, no playoffs: the team with the most points at the end wins the title, the bottom two are relegated, and third from bottom plays a relegation playoff. Every match counts, which is exactly what makes the fantasy version work.
You draft an 18-player roster (2 GK, 5 DEF, 6 MID, 5 FWD). That roster is yours for the entire season. No transfers, no waivers, no weekly lineup decisions.
Each matchday, the system automatically scores your best possible 11 out of the 18. You never choose who starts. The algorithm picks the highest-scoring valid formation after all matches are played. Your league can set this to resolve daily or weekly.
The remaining 7 players on your bench are insurance: if a starter is rested, injured, or suspended, someone from your bench can slot in automatically. Draft depth matters.
Rosters lock at the draft. If a rostered player leaves the competition mid-season, he stops scoring and is not replaced. A player who moves to another club within the same league keeps scoring for you.
Points accumulate all season. Most points at the end wins. No playoffs, no resets.
Position-weighted scoring, the same engine behind our World Cup leagues. Goals are worth more for defenders and goalkeepers because they score them less often. Clean sheets reward the back line. No bonus point system to decode.
Clean sheet and goals conceded use the team result. If your player's team concedes zero goals in the match, every GK/DEF/MID on that team who plays 60+ min earns the clean-sheet bonus. GKs and DEFs lose 0.5 pts per goal their team concedes (60+ min gate).
Ligue 1 develops more talent than any league in Europe. The next Mbappe, the next Griezmann, the next Pogba: they are playing in France right now. Draft them before the world catches on.
No budgets, no transfers, no deadlines. Set your roster and watch. If you can fill out a bracket, you can play this.
Snake drafts for your soccer fans, pools for everyone else. One league covers the friend who watches every Le Classique and the friend who just learned what Ligue 1 is.

PSG players dominate the stats, but Marseille, Monaco, Lyon, and Lille all produce strong fantasy performers. Ligue 1 is known for developing young talent, and breakout stars from smaller clubs can be league-winning picks.
