No budgets. No transfer deadlines. No price changes, captaincy math, or chips. Pick your players, invite your friends, and watch the matches. Fantasy Playoffs brings snake and pool formats to the 2026-27 Premier League season for people who want the fun without the homework.
If you've looked at Fantasy Premier League and closed the tab, you're who this is for. FPL asks you to manage a 100 million pound budget, track player price changes, make transfers against a deadline every single week, pick a captain, and play chips at the right moment, for nine months. It's a great game. It's also a part-time job.
Here it works the way fantasy works with your friends in any other sport. Pick a format, invite your group, build your roster, and you're done. Your players score points when they play well. No weekly maintenance required.
Two formats, both built for groups:
Snake. A live draft with your friends. Once a player is taken, he's gone, so no two rosters look alike and nobody can copy the template team. Draft once before kickoff and let the season play out.
Pool. No draft. Everyone picks a squad from the same player pool in about five minutes. The best picks win. This is the format for the friend who watches every match but has never played fantasy anything.
The World Cup pulled you in. The Premier League is the next nine months of it: matches every weekend, every star you just watched this summer, and a title race that runs to the final day. You don't need to have grown up with FPL to play fantasy soccer. You just need a group chat and ten minutes.
The 2026-27 Premier League runs from August 21, 2026 to May 30, 2027. Twenty teams, 38 matchweeks, no playoffs: the team with the most points at the end wins the title, and the bottom three are relegated. Every match counts, which is exactly what makes the fantasy version work. Fixtures are released June 19.
You draft an 18-player roster (2 GK, 5 DEF, 6 MID, 5 FWD). That roster is yours for the entire season. No transfers, no waivers, no weekly lineup decisions.
Each matchweek, the system automatically scores your best possible 11 out of the 18. You never choose who starts. The algorithm picks the highest-scoring valid formation after all matches are played. Your league can set this to resolve daily or weekly.
The remaining 7 players on your bench are insurance: if a starter is rested, injured, or suspended, someone from your bench can slot in automatically. Draft depth matters.
Rosters lock at the draft. If a rostered player leaves the competition mid-season, he stops scoring and is not replaced. A player who moves to another club within the same league keeps scoring for you.
Points accumulate all season. Most points at the end wins. No playoffs, no resets.
Position-weighted scoring, the same engine behind our World Cup leagues. Goals are worth more for defenders and goalkeepers because they score them less often. Clean sheets reward the back line. No bonus point system to decode.
Clean sheet and goals conceded use the team result. If your player's team concedes zero goals in the match, every GK/DEF/MID on that team who plays 60+ min earns the clean-sheet bonus. GKs and DEFs lose 0.5 pts per goal their team concedes (60+ min gate).
Haaland, Salah, Saka, Palmer: the players you watched at the World Cup play here every weekend. A fantasy roster gives you a reason to care about every match, not just your club's.
No budgets, no transfers, no deadlines, no chips. Set your roster and watch. If you can pick a March Madness bracket, you can play this.
Snake drafts for your soccer diehards, pools for everyone else. One league covers the friend who knows every squad rotation and the friend who just learned what offside means.

Yes. Fantasy Playoffs runs Premier League fantasy with no budgets, no transfers, and no weekly deadlines. You pick a roster in a snake draft or a pool format and your players score points all season. It's built for casual fans and groups of friends.
No. None of those exist here. Those are mechanics from Fantasy Premier League (FPL), the official game. This is a different, simpler way to play: pick players, watch matches, count points.
Yes, that's who this is built for. The formats (snake drafts and pools) are the same ones fantasy players already know from other sports, and the scoring is simple enough to learn in one read. Having a roster is also the fastest way to learn the league itself.
Friday, August 21, 2026, running through the final day on May 30, 2027. The start is a week later than usual because of the 2026 World Cup.
FPL is a season-long management game: a budget, weekly transfers, price changes, captaincy, and chips, with decisions due every week for 38 matchweeks. Fantasy Playoffs strips all of that out. You draft an 18-player roster once and the system automatically scores your best possible 11 each matchweek. No lineups to set, no transfers to make.
Snake (a live draft where each player can only be on one roster) and pool (everyone picks from the same player pool, no draft, about five minutes to enter). Both use 18-player rosters with the system automatically selecting your best 11 each matchweek.
No. You never set a lineup. The system automatically scores your best possible 11 out of your 18 each matchweek. There are no transfers, no waivers, no weekly decisions at all.
Yes. Every commissioner controls the format, roster size and shape, and scoring mode for free. Customizing the scoring point values across 30+ stat categories is a Founding Member perk.
